For the last 36 years, we have been able to grow and improve our line of choke tubes. This has come from patterning tens of thousands of shells and using all different makes and models of shotguns. By examining patterns and making adjustments to things such as the parallel section, finish, and diameters, we are able to provide an affordable product that performs as you would expect in the field and at the range.
Why use aftermarket choke tubes? By using a stronger material, aftermarket choke tubes give the consumer more options and the ability to produce tighter and more dense patterns with longer range effectiveness in comparison to the factory choke tubes provided with the gun. Another important difference is the parallel section of the choke tube. Factory style chokes do not generally offer the length in parallel section that aftermarket extended tubes can. The difference starts with the machining process.
What makes our products unique? CARLSON'S Choke Tubes are made from the finest corrosion-resistant 17-4 PH stainless steel available. Every single CARLSON'S Choke Tube is made, right here, in the United States.
For the last 30+ years, Carlson's Choke Tubes have been able to grow and improve their line of choke tubes. This has come from patterning tens of thousands of shells, and using all different makes and models of shotguns. By examining patterns and making adjustments to things such as the parallel section, finish, and diameters, Carlson's Choke Tubes are able to provide choke tubes that perform as you would expect in the field and at the range. Over the last few years, Carlson's Choke Tubes have grown their product line, and some of this can be attributed to the Electronic Patterning Board (EPB) that they have at their disposal. This technology allows Carlson's Choke Tubes to see various things such as point of impact (POI), pattern percentage, and pattern density. Using the EPB, Carlson's Choke Tubes are able to get more accurate data, and this advantage is passed on to the customer by designing accurate chokes.
Carlson's Choke Tubes are made from the finest corrosion-resistant 17-4 PH stainless steel available. Most factory choke tubes are made of lesser stainless steel, which equates to a choke that won't hold up to most steel shot loads or heavy buffered shotshells. Steel shot patterns tighter than lead shot, and generally speaking, you will want to use a more open choke when shooting steel shot than you would with lead.
Patterning your shotgun is very important as every shotgun, choke, and load combination will produce various results. Generally, when patterning your shotgun, you will want to have a target area that would hold a 30-inch circle. You will want to set your target at the desired yardage, and 40 yards is a good start and is widely used in the industry to compare results. Make sure you have a good stance or rest so you get accurate data. The point of aim (POI) of the shotgun is important to recognize, as it can be affected by the gun, stance, shooter, choke, or load.
Carlson's Choke Tubes are CNC milled from solid 17-4, heat-treated, stainless bars for optimum performance and longevity, so you can focus on busting clays and filling bag limits. Most ammo and choke combinations will pattern differently, so using a Performance Carlson's Choke Tube is a great place to start, but don't forget to go to the range and pattern your shotgun for the load and choke you intend to use. Every single Carlson's Choke Tube is made, right here, in the United States.
Carlson's Choke Tubes have 30 plus years of experienced patterning and testing data, having analyzed thousands of load and choke combos with their proprietary software. They bring you the best and most accurate aim choke tubes for your hunting needs. Their high-quality Ported Sporting Clays Compatible for Beretta Benelli Mobil is made of high-quality Stainless Steel, manufactured from 17-04 stainless steel and precision machined to produce a choke that patterns better, with less recoil, than standard flush mount choke tubes. Carlson's Choke Tubes Ported Sporting Clays Compatible for Beretta Benelli Mobil 12 Gauge is constricted at Skeet and measured at 0.72 diameter. They back all of their choke tubes with a lifetime warranty, so you can focus on busting clays and filling bag limits, and all their Carlson's Choke Tubes are made, right here, in the United States.
